The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) recently announced they are searching for highly skilled and dedicated people to join their team. In a recent tweet, DOGE thanked thousands of Americans for showing interest in helping out, but clarified that they are specifically looking for highly intelligent, passionate individuals willing to work hard on cutting costs in government spending.
DOGE made it clear that they don’t need “part-time idea generators” or people who only want to share their thoughts without putting in the effort. Instead, they need what they describe as “small-government revolutionaries” who can handle an intense workload of over 80 hours a week. These individuals will be focusing on practical solutions to improve government efficiency, which may not seem very glamorous but is critical for their mission.
The department also mentioned that for those who feel they meet this high standard, there is a chance to apply by directly messaging DOGE’s Twitter account with their resume. Notably, the tweet stated that Elon Musk and entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy will personally review the top 1% of applicants, suggesting that DOGE is setting very high expectations for the new team members they bring on board.
